Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces dark rum

  • 1 ounce espresso, cooled

  • 3/4 ounce banana liqueur

  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup

  • 1 large egg white

  • Espresso powder, for garnish

  • Ground nutmeg, for garnish

Direction

  1. Place rum, espresso, banana liqueur, simple syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker; cover with lid, and shake for about 15 seconds.

  2. Add ice to cocktail shaker; cover with lid, and shake vigorously until egg white is frothy and mixture is chilled, about 15 seconds. Pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a coupe glass. Garnish with espresso powder or ground nutmeg.
