Banana Espresso Flip
A simple, luxurious cocktail that proves banana and coffee are a perfect match.

1 1/2 ounces dark rum

1 ounce espresso, cooled

3/4 ounce banana liqueur

1/2 ounce simple syrup

1 large egg white

Espresso powder, for garnish

Place rum, espresso, banana liqueur, simple syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker; cover with lid, and shake for about 15 seconds.

Add ice to cocktail shaker; cover with lid, and shake vigorously until egg white is frothy and mixture is chilled, about 15 seconds. Pour through a fine wire-mesh strainer into a coupe glass. Garnish with espresso powder or ground nutmeg.
