Ingredients

  • 6 bacon strips, diced
  • 6 cups torn romaine
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup salad croutons
  • ranch dressing:
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Direction

  1. In a skillet or microwave, cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Add to a salad bowl with romaine and tomatoes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine dressing ingredients; whisk until well combined. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Sprinkle with croutons.
